ICE secured our first contract in the aircraft industry in 1975 by designing and manufacturing a state-of-the-art deicer timer for the Cessna Aircraft Company. We at ICE have maintained that partnership with our first aviation customers while continuing to expand our expertise and enlarge our client base. By 1979, ICE had established itself as a leader in ice protection controllers with over a dozen models flying on various fixed wing aircraft all over the world. In the early 1980's the world was on the threshold of significant improvements in electronic control systems. ICE helped lead the way by designing its first microprocessor-based propeller de-icer controller that offered options such as ARINC Communication, and BIT fault detection, along with intelligent default operation and the recording and storing of all anomalies.
ICE Corporation has designed and manufactured products ranging from ice protection systems, both anti-icing and de-icing, to avionic systems and systems monitoring equipment. Our units withstand thousands of hours of repetitive cycling within the hostile environments known to the aircraft industry. Feel free to send for more information about these projects or to see if there is something that ICE can design for you.
