Slide Warmer

The SIREMASTER^® Slide Warmer is the direct product of a culmination of extensive research between the Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine and the ICE Corporation. Although the original design used accepted methods of calibration and temperature control, the new version of the SIREMASTER^® Slide Warmer has been designed using state of the art electronics that are more accurate and more reliable than the electronic devices of just a few years ago.

ICE Corporation has incorporated a solid state design that mimics similar designs for aircraft temperature controls. This new design reaches equilibrium temperature faster and remains highly accurate even throughout volatile conditions. The SIREMASTER^® Slide Warmer is a precision medical device that is not subject to set point changes. The SIREMASTER^® Slide Warmer will keep your specimen at a premium temperature, not too hot and not too cold.

With a full 8"x12" working area, the unit will maintain up to 20 slides at a premium temperature while they wait for analysis. With help from Dr. Keith Beeman, Theriogenologist, it has been determined that the optimum temperature range at which to maintain a specimen is between 95 and 101.5 degrees F in order to safely maximize semen sample mobility. Each unit is preprogrammed and tested prior to shipping so that it arrives ready for use. Simply plug the unit power cord into a standard 110VAC outlet, wait 5-7 minutes for the unit to reach equilibrium and you are ready to go. Place the samples on the oversized surface and remain confident that they will be ready for examination.
